The Ocular Melanoma Foundation (OMF) was established in 2003 by ophthalmologist and pharmacologist Dr. Robert C. Allen after his personal experience with eye cancer. OMF’s mission is to accelerate and enhance scientific research, advocacy, and awareness of ocular melanoma and to provide education and support to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. CURE Ocular Melanoma (CURE OM: Community United for Research and Education of Ocular Melanoma) is the Melanoma Research Foundation’s initiative to increase awareness, education, treatment and research funding of ocular melanoma. A Cure in Sight is a not-for-profit organization founded by eye cancer survivor and advocate Melody Kling to raise awareness of the disease and to help those with ocular melanoma find and pay for their treatments.

EyeMelanoma.org was founded to provide uveal melanoma patients and their families with a place to find educational resources about the disease.
